Q: Where can I ship my order, and how much will it cost?
A: During the checkout process, you can take advantage of FREE Standard Shipping by choosing to have your purchase shipped to the store in which you are placing the order (if applicable). If you'd prefer to ship the order to another address, there is a $4.99 Standard Shipping charge. If expedited shipping is needed, it's available for a fee based on the size and weight of the order. For Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico stores, the price to ship to the store is $5, and the price to ship to another address is $10. Remember: expedited shipping is only available as a shipping option to ship to another address. You cannot expedite shipping to the store.
Please note: We will do our best to get shipments delivered on time. However, there are situations which are beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays due to weather conditions, incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses, natural disasters, or refusal to accept packages. To reduce the possibility of late arrival of your package especially during the busy holiday season, please place your orders early.
Q: Can I place an order on HT Connect without a valid email address?
A: No, you’ll need a valid email address to order from Hottopic.com, whether in the store or at home. That way we’ll be able to communicate with you about your order.
Q: Can I sign up for HT+1 while checking out of HT Connect?
A: You can sign up for HT+1 using HT Connect but not during the Hottopic.com checkout process. If you’ve completed your HT+1 enrollment online, your existing info will already be there.
Q: Can I donate to the Hot Topic Foundation while using HT Connect?
A: Yes, during the checkout process on hottopic.com, you’ll be asked if you’d like to donate.
Q: How does Hot Topic ensure that the person picking up the order is the person who placed the order?
A: The email that lets you know that your order is available for pickup will instruct you to bring in a copy of your email or order number. As long as we can match you to your order, you are fine. For example, it is possible for a parent to place an order and have their child pick it up, as long as the email or order number is in hand.
Q: What if I don’t receive my order at home or it’s never delivered to the store?
A: Contact hottopic.com Customer Service at 1-800-892-8674.
Q: What happens if part or all of my order is cancelled?
A: When an online order is cancelled, your credit card is refunded. If you paid with a gift card, the Customer Service team will mail a replacement gift card to your billing address.
Q: If I do not pick up my order within 45 days, how do I get a refund for the merchandise returned?
A: The store will cancel your order. Like any other cancelled order, your credit card will be refunded, or a new gift card will be mailed to your billing address.
Q: Clearance cannot be returned on hottopic.com, but can I return clearance purchased on HT Connect?
A: Nope, All clearance items purchased on HT Connect, Hottopic.com and at any Hot Topic store are final sales and cannot be exchanged or returned.
Q: Can customers use promotional codes on HT Connect?
A: Yes, promo codes are valid for Hottopic.com orders.
Q: Can customers use more than one promotional code for their HT Connect order?
A: No, only one code can be entered per transaction.
Q: Can HT+1 members use their 15% discount or birthday discount on HT Connect?
A: Yes, during checkout, you’ll need to enter the promo code that was emailed to you into the appropriate field.
Q: When I want to make an exchange, do I have to pay for shipping?
A: We hope you love what you’ve ordered, but if there’s an issue or you’re not 100% satisfied, return your item(s) to the nearest Hot Topic store, or by mail using the self-serve return form attached to your order invoice.
