Metallica used to be a Los Angeles band, but then they met Cliff Burton in San Francisco and metal history was made. Metallica moved to San Francisco so they could have Cliff, who'd already conquered the SF scene, in the band on bass guitar. His unique, ripping style and expansive musical ideas propelled Metallica's first 3 albums into legendary status, before he was tragically killed in a bus accident in 1986 at age 24. As the saying goes, CLIFF 'EM ALL! This tee features a drawing of Cliff based on a famous photo, above the graves illustration from Metallica's Master of Puppets LP.
