Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to REMOVE the belt from the buckle Just in case you need to remove the belt to resize or replace it. Do NOT try to pry this open as you will destroy it! take a box cutter or another sharp knife (be careful as you will be using one hand on the buckle connector and one on the knife. Slipping would be horrible, box knife is a safer solution). Bend the belt then cut the belt along the teeth of the belt holder. Bend the belt the other way and finish the cut on the other side of the belt. Push the remaining trapped belt leather behind the teeth back into the belt. Once the teeth no longer have a grip on the belt you should be able to open the contraption like so...
