HOT TOPIC CREDIT CARD


The Hot Topic Guest List Credit Card program will end on April 1, 2025. As a result, we are no longer accepting new applications for the Hot Topic Guest List Credit Card program. Existing cardholders can continue using their card until March 31, 2025, at 11:59:59 PM ET. For more information, please visit comenity.net/hottopic.

Q: What happens to my account after March 31, 2025?

A: Your Hot Topic Guest List Credit Card account will close on or after April 1, 2025, and no new purchases can be made using the card. You can still log into your card account at Comenity Bank to service outstanding balances or to make payments. You will continue to receive monthly billing statements until the balance is paid in full. The terms of your Credit Card Agreement, including interest rates and minimum payments, remain in effect until your balance is cleared.


Q: How can I make payments after the program ends?

A: You can continue to make payments using the following methods:

Online: Go to Account Center at comenity.net/hottopic or EasyPay at comenity.net/easypay/comenitycard/welcome.

Phone: Call 1-844-271-2526 (TDD/TTY: 1-800-695-1788) and use the automated system to avoid an expedited payment fee.


Mail: Send a check via the U.S. Postal Service to the address on your statement (recommended at least 10 days before the due date to ensure on-time delivery and avoid late fees).


Q: What happens to my existing orders placed with the Hot Topic Credit Card?

A: Orders placed with the Hot Topic Credit card before April 1, 2025, will continue to be processed normally. However, no new orders can be placed after March 31, 2025, using the Hot Topic Credit Card.


Q: Will my Hot Topic Rewards account be impacted?

A: No, your Hot Topic Rewards account will not be impacted and all Hot Topic rewards earned will still be in your Hot Topic Rewards account. If you have the Hot Topic Credit Card saved as a payment method in your account it will be removed after March 31, 2025. You will need to add a new payment method for future purchases.


Q: Can I still redeem my Shopping Pass coupons?

A: Yes, any active Shopping Pass you have will be honored until its expiration date. We encourage you to use these benefits before they expire.


Q: How will returns be handled?

A: Returns will follow the return policy found at Hot Topic Returns & Exchanges, which allows returns within 30 days of purchase with a receipt. Merchandise credits for returns allocated to another form of payment will not affect your outstanding balance with Comenity Bank.


Q: What should I do with my credit card after the program ends?

A: To protect your credit and prevent identity theft, please destroy all credit cards issued for this account, including any authorized user cards, once the program ends. We recommend cutting the cards into several pieces, ensuring the chip and magnetic strip are destroyed.


Q: What happens to my Account Assure® coverage?

A: If you were enrolled in Account Assure®, the optional debt cancelation program, your coverage and billing will continue until your balance is paid in full, or until your enrollment is canceled or terminated. Please refer to the Account Assure Terms and Conditions for more details.
