It’s a pretty awesome deal because the shipping is FREE... and you can grab all those things you forgot to buy online when you head in to the store to pick your order up. Here’s how it works: shop hottopic.com, select “Ship to Store” during checkout, search and find your preferred store within the United States, and complete checkout. You’ll get an email confirmation of your Ship to Store purchase, with instructions on where and when to pick up your stuff. Your shipment will take up to 14 days to arrive (up to 21 days in AK/HI/PR), and we’ll send you an email when the store receives your package.   • All deliveries are pending approval and merchandise availability.
  • Delivery time includes 1-2 business day for processing.

  • Orders with standard shipping are often shipped using FedEx SmartPost. FedEx SmartPost packages are picked up by FedEx from our warehouse and delivered to USPS. Once USPS receives the package, USPS then delivers the package to the address submitted at the time that the order was placed. Changes cannot be made once the order ships.
  • Saturday delivery is not available for Overnight Shipping.
  • 2-3 Day and Overnight orders must be in before 11 AM CT to ship out same business day.
  • 2-3 Day and Overnight orders placed after 11 AM CT will ship the following business day.
  • 2-3 Day and Overnight orders are delivered Monday-Friday. They are NOT delivered Saturday or Sunday.
  • Signature required for all 2-3 Day and Overnight orders.
  • Gift Cards ship free via Standard shipping for the Continental U.S only.

Overnight

Overnight shipping typically arrives in 1 business day. Please allow 1-2 days for processing in our warehouse.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
A: Nope.
 
Q: Will I be charged shipping if I only purchase a gift card?
A: Nope! But please note that all gift card orders are shipped via Standard shipping. If you want your gift cards sent with faster shipping, we will have to charge you a shipping fee.
 
Q: I haven’t received my item. Who should I contact?
A: A: All orders are processed Monday through Friday but are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. Don’t forget to allow 1-2 business days for order processing, too! If you still think your order is missing in action, give us a call at 1.800.892.8674 or +1.626.709.1189 internationally.
 
Q: Why doesn't the FedEx or USPS web site recognize the tracking number for an order I placed?
A: Your tracking number won’t be recognized until approximately 24 hours after your order has shipped. This is the time needed for their online tracking system to update. Try tracking your package again the following day and follow it to your front door!
 
Q: How will you notify me if there is a problem with my order?
A: All order communication is done via email, so it’s important that your email address is accurate and current.

Q: How does my package ship out?
A: All APO/FPO orders ship via USPS Priority. Tracking detail is available until the package is delivered to the Military Post Office in San Francisco or New York. The percentage of USPS Priority shipments not reaching the destination is less than 1% and we consider them a very reliable shipping source for all APO/FPO destinations.
 
International Shipping FAQs
 
Q: Do you ship orders overseas?
A: Yes, we ship orders all over the world. All order communication will occur via email, so it’s very important that your email address is current. Please make sure to double-check the shipping address, too. Your phone number is optional, but it helps in case there is a delivery problem.
 
Q: Why does International shipping cost more?
A: International shipping costs more because your package is tracked and insured. Although Hottopic.com does not charge a handling fee, there is an increased cost when tracking and insuring packages beyond our borders.
 
Q: How much will I pay for International shipping?
A: Your shipping price will be determined online by the weight of your order and the shipping destination. After the "Shipping Address" page, you’ll see price for your order.*

Q: What are my International shipping options?
A: The United States Postal Service (USPS) is the preferred shipping method for Hot Topic. Please note that we do not offer Overnight or Second Day deliveries for international orders at this time.
 
Q: I am currently stationed overseas on a U.S. military base. Can I still order from Hottopic.com?
A: Yes, you certainly can. All orders being delivered to a U.S. military address overseas will be shipped via U.S. Priority Mail. Please select AA or AE from the state drop down menu that corresponds to your U.S. military zip code. You can also receive a 10% military discount by calling 1.800.892.8674 to place your order, or +1.626.709.1189 for international customers.
 
Q: I live in the USA, but I'd like to ship something to a friend or family member overseas. Can I do that?
A: Yes, you can. You'll need to select "U.S. Express Mail" as your shipping method. Make sure to modify the "Shipping Address" before clicking "Submit."
 
Q: How long will it take my International package to arrive?
A: International orders typically arrive within 10-14 business days. Customs inspections may cause unforeseeable delays, both when leaving the United States and entering another country.
 
Q: Are there any other charges, taxes or duties?
A: You may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Neither the U.S. Postal Service nor Hot Topic can be held liable for any additional charges you may incur. Additional charges for Customs clearance must be borne by you. Hot Topic has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Each country has their own Customs regulations that may or may not charge for certain types of merchandise or material included in your order. When ordering from Hot Topic, you are considered the Importer of Record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Each order will be accompanied by a Customs form that will document what is in the package and provide a dollar amount of the value of the package. If something is damaged, they will need to know the value of the item(s). You should contact your local Customs office for further information.
