Would definitely size down, or maybe it's just not for us short girls :'(
I got a large based on my 42" waist. But I'm 5'3" and the fabric just drapes over my toes. It's not a shorter skirt like in the pics.
The fabric is really nice though and very flowy. The print is really great too. Bummer it's so long
