Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely my favorite I have used different hair dye brands before and they bleed all over everything, despite the fact I went to bed with slightly damp hair it barely left a trace on my pillow. Also when I bleached my hair before dying it my hair did not turn out blond but red, I went ahead and dyed over the red and the color came out beautifully! I am horrible with taking my own picture so I apologize for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Color stayed FOREVER! No developer needed for this product and it smells amazing! Also, I have a sensitive scalp and it didn't burn one bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arctic Fox Virgin Pink Hair Dye I bought this item and fully expected it to be late or damaged but I was so further from the truth; it arrived several days early and I'm in love with it. I'm so so happy with my purchase and the service that Hottopic gives.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty nice color Im unable to give the best review seeing how i mixed this hair dye with some teal of RAW hair dye. The scent is amazing and its gone through about 4 washes and has had minimal fade. My hair also did not feel like hay after dying, it felt nice and smooth, i also didn't experience to much blue run off from my hair after dying. Pretty good hair dye,[p better then some others ive tried

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please Research Please read about your color before you do it yourself. If you refuse to/cannot lighten your hair before the process, you will NOT achieve the most vibrant results. More importantly, especially before you lighten or color, the current tone and level of your hair needs to be understood in relation to what color you would like to end up with. Example: a deeper shade of blue like this is the complementary color to red-orange. When you mix or dye over a complementary color, the result is brown. Possibly tinted, but ultimately brown, as those opposing colors neutralize each other. So you've basically gone from a warm brown to a cool one in terms of apparent hair color. In terms of level, a typical light-to-medium brown is around a 5-7. If you want to dump the bottle on your head and turn out with mermaid hair, you *have* to lift as high as your hair can tolerate, with 10 being the lightest/highest. When you lighten even one or two levels it gives the pigment something to cling to. A similar thing happens when you shampoo but don't condition (like you usually should before dye) and failing to do so can cause your natural oils to not only prevent color saturation, but cause streaky uneven results. Another important note: even with pre-lightened hair, color needs to be left in for much longer than directions imply. In fact what is printed on most bottles is simply a bare minimum for even slight change. Most users let set and saturate for 6+ hours (basically however long you can tolerate/at least 2/until it starts to dry under your cap) and is another reason it's important to know what you're doing before you buy. On blue specifically: most will fade to some sort of green. On that note it can bolster your color to either start there in the first place as a base, mix some in with your blue to give it some depth, or be ready to layer on that same blue color for awhile to get desired results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pretty average. having watched a million reviews on this brand and this color of hair dye, I have realized it's an overrated brand. Manic Panic has much more vibrant, and vivid colors. I had a faded purple under this dye, and usually with good dyes, they can cover any faded stains in your hair. However, this dye isn't opaque, due to all the "conditioner". So, it turned almost navy. It doesn't stay vibrant for more than a few days. And that annoyed me. but it was cheap, so i guess you get what you pay for. But I suggest ordering arctic fox off of their website, rather than hot topic, because it's cheaper. but I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Buy manic panic or crazy color hair dye.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't last, wasn't true to colour I bought this looking for a nice royal blue colour, but what i got was a blue-ISH colour. the bottle says its should last about 40 washes, but it only lasted about 1 and a swim at a pool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hmmm So I bought this hair dye and had to use two bottle of it which I wasn't happy about they cost $15 each for 4 ounce bottle so I dyed my hair all fine took quite a while for the water to rise somewhat clear. I've had my hair dyed for a week now and everyday I wake up with a blue neck and blue bed sheets I've washed my hair twice so far but I can't wear my hair down unless I want a blue neck. I really want to like this hair dye but it's just none stop bleeding from this hair dye.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less Dye, More Toner Pros: Smells amazing, easy and comfortable to use, left my hair feeling super soft and undamaged and washed easily off my skin. Cons: Really low pigment deposits. I don't know if my hair wasn't clean enough (I didn't wash it right before use) But when I ended up using it, really all it did was take the warm reddish tones out of my medium brown hair. Usually products like this leave deep highlights that I really love, but I had to go looking for any hint of blue in my hair. I still have half a bottle and I'm going to try again right after my hair has dried from a wash to see if that was the problem, but as it stands, this is not a product I would recommend unless you have bleached or naturally blonde hair. I wasn't upset because I'll be getting two tries from an inexpensive bottle, but I probably won't buy it again without noticeably different results the second time around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from great if you want a blue tub! Bought about a month ago and just got around to using it. I just did the bottem 4 inches or so of my blonde hair and was disappointed to end up with a smokey blue tone. It looked like i had done it 6 months ago and had faded out. It was suggested to do a second run and sure enough still no true blue. Just blueish smokey haze. But my bathtub and towel have looots of blue!! Great on everything but hair. Followed directions to a T. Will not buy again, nor would i recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I had VERY blonde hair. Almost white before I put this on. I wanted a bright blue...I got a nasty faded navy blue color that washed out in less than a week. Never buying Arctic fox ever again. So disappointed - going back to Manic Panic yet again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from rubs off everywhere I used this to add a blue tint to my dark hair. It does leave a subtle tint but it stains my neck and hands like crazy. I also have a few gray hairs and those surprisingly didn't turn blue. The smell is nice but the formula is thin and it doesn't seem like it's that rich in pigment. It might be different for pre lightened hair but for me this was a bust. The color is noticeable until the 6th wash, then after that my hair is back to normal. I shampoo still turns blue though for up to 14 washes. Again it just might not be good on hair that isn't pre lightened. I found RAW to be much better with my hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Washes out after one wash It took one wash to completely take out the beautiful blue in my hair and i was very upset. I dye my hair a lot and i have always used manic panic and i thought id give arctic fox another shot bc ive had the same problem about a year ago. Same happened. Its been two washes out and it looks lile i washed it 10 times. And yes i did wash with cold water.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Washed Out Too Fast When I first dyed my hair, the color turned out really nice. However, after a week where I only washed my hair 3 days, the color is already half faded. There is no way you can get forty washes out of one dye.
