Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cr*p quality, no longer made with real leather Hot topic studded belts were always an everyday accessory from like 2006 and up, they were extremely durable and high quality. My LAST old hot topic belt from years ago (back when they were still made with real leather and had the cool old logo!) finally broke a couple months ago, after nearly a decade of constant wear and tear. I bought one in store to replace it, and was immediately disappointed to find that the belts are now made of a weird faux leather that was nowhere near as nice feeling/looking as the old belts I was used to. I bought it anyways to give it a try, and it didn't even last a full month of daily wear - The metal grommets began falling out after about 3 weeks, and the studs started popping out shortly after. The "leather" part of the belt literally separated down the middle, as though someone tried pulling it apart lengthwise. Over the past few months now, I have gone through 3 of these belts because they just keep falling apart. After this 3rd one I'm on falls apart, I'll be saving my money and finding a different brand for my studded belt needs! Not worth the waste of money or the frustration, such a shame that hot topic reduced the quality of one of their most iconic products. Bring back the real leather!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After Two Months It's Falling Apart First off I want to say that I've been buying this same belt and some of the two row pyramid belts from Hot Topic since 2005 and they all held up for years and years. However, I bought this belt back on 2/23/19 on the website and within a few days of use the metal rings that are around the belt notch that I use fell off. And about a month ago, another set of metal rings fell off on the next notch (I go back between these two since my waist size is somewhere in the middle). I'm really disappointed with this, especially since I've worn these belts in the past and while natural wear and tear took them over the years, I never had these little metal rings fall out of the belt. And because the rings are now out the thin leather strip on the back of the belt is coming up because there's nothing to hold it down. I don't know if they've cheaped out on how these belts are made recently, or if I got a defective one, either way I'm not happy with it.
